Call for Editorial Board Members (EBM)

Elsevier is seeking qualified professionals to join the editorial boards of its leading parasitology journals*. This is an excellent opportunity for experts in parasitology and related fields to contribute to the advancement of parasitology research and knowledge dissemination.

Ideal Candidates:

• Have expertise that aligns with the journal’s aims and scope for which you are applying for
• Strong record of publications, conference presentations and grant-funded scholarship
• Prior editorial experience in peer-reviewed journals, possess knowledge of publishing ethics, and demonstrate sound scientific judgment
• Active researchers who are well-connected within the international parasitology community
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial team

Responsibilities:

The EMB will be involved in various editorial activities, including but not limited to:

• Review a certain number of manuscripts per year
• Suggest hot topics for articles and special issues
• Attend Editorial Board meetings where possible
• Act as an ambassador for the journal and suggest it to your peers as a venue for publication
• Submit relevant articles of your own to the journal
• Pass on any market intelligence or feedback from the community which might help the journal
